I was shocked when recently I went on the internet to check out suppliers for hoof picks. The variety of hoof picks was staggering, each claiming to be "the" answer to cleaning out the hoof. Many were fancy, gimmicky and expensive. The good news is that the one here, the simplest of them all -- and the least expensive -- is all you need. I've used picks like the one above for over 20 years, and I've yet to run into a hoof I couldn't "unload" with it in 5 seconds.
